In this site-specific studio installation, I brought together some particles of who I’ve met and what I found in New York, the exhausted/exhausting main character of it all (who I love and miss firmly). It turned out to be a pretty scattered gathering between it all, and I am pleased how everything came together for a brief moment, as attempts and gestures.

Currently I’m making next steps for the works I started in NYC and are longer term projects. Next to MOTHERSTONES (moederstenen), I’ll be working on videoworks in the upcoming months that will bring together several recorded conversations I had about joy, grief, resistance and care. I am grateful for everyone I spoke to, and the trust they have in me and this project.
