For A Tale of A Tub, Hilde Onis and I created an installation and workshop in which children were stimulated to think about lost and disoriented objects that have washed ashore. With different groups we thought about what it means to be of use, possible purposes, to change value and to transform. Within this, we took Sara Ahmed’s What’s the Use? as a starting point, talking and working around what it means to feel permission to enter a space and how a bird nor a mailbox is able to go to the police.
