(the symbolism of a peeled tree)

site-specific window work at NEstudio’s, 2021

For the Noordereiland Studio’s project RAAMWERK, I made a site-specific narrative with photographs taken on the island, accompanied by a short story. The story is a combination of feelings and thoughts about change, housing, short encounters, familiar strangers with as protagonist the tree on the island that got brutally peeled in May of that year (by an unfamiliar stranger).
